Underground Air Raid Shelters

During the Second World War, tunnels already built of the Rome Metro Line A Project (Project which has been put in standby due to the war) were converted to Air Shelters that could contain up to 50000 people. Ramified to these, more underground tunnels were built in the Colosseum to the Termini Station area with the only objective to protect the local population.
