Founded in 1894, Ghella is a major Italian global force recognized for its excellence in the construction of large-scale public infrastructure and expertise in Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM).

With five generations of long-standing tunnelling experience, we have completed over 190 tunnels, connecting more than 1,000 km of metros, railways, motorways, and hydraulic works.

We take pride in our diverse community of over 6,000 people, residing in fifteen countries, and working across four continents, primarily in Oceania, Europe, North and South America, and West Asia.

We operate to the highest standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

We strive to improve connectivity, enhance mobility, reduce environmental impact, and optimize the use of natural resources.

Through our subsidiaries Gransolar Ghella and Ghella Green, we are also active in the renewable energy sector developing, constructing, and operating plants generating power from renewable sources, with a focus on photovoltaic and hydroelectric projects in Italy, Central America, and the Middle East.
