We are proud to announce that Ghella’s 2019 Sustainability Report  has been awarded the Special Prize “Identità e Visione” (Identity & Vision) by BBS- Biblioteca Bilancio Sociale within its Premio BBS 2021, one of the most important awards dedicated to Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability at a national level.

The ceremony for the VII edition of the BBS awards was held in Milan, on September 28, chaired by Ermete Realacci President of Fondazione Symbola, Mirta Barbeschi Founder BBS e Paolo Mazzanti Director of Askanews

The award aims at recognizing and rewarding the best Sustainability Reports produced by Italian companies “by evaluating its contents, in order to tell and share visions and best practices, among the main players of our country”. The award is realized with the patronage of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Confindustria, Unioncamere and Symbola.

The award was given to Ghella’s Report with the following motivation: “when infrastructures promote sustainable lifestyles and economies. The selection of projects based on the creation of value for the territory and local communities accompanied by the reduction of the socio-environmental impacts associated with the construction phase.”

Mirta Barbeschi Founder of BBS comments “it’s clear how (Ghella’s) Board has decided to embrace sustainability - starting with the choice of projects to execute - within a sector as sensitive as infrastructure which can be highly destabilizing if managed differently.”

Ermete Realacci, President of the Symbola Foundation, launches a call for action “let’s not waste the opportunity presented by this crisis, we can build a more gentle, civil and sustainable Country also thanks to the commitment of the companies that I see today at this table and that well represent a people-oriented economy equipped to face the future”.
