EIC elects its new President and Vice President

The EIC General Assembly held on 25th of April 2025 in Bordeaux elects as its new President Gustavo Martínez from Spain and Matteo d’Aloja from Italy as new EIC Vice President.
Gustavo Martínez is the Commercial Director & Head of Digitalisation and Documentation - Bidding & Contracting Department at FERROVIAL. He has been Vice-President of EIC since 2023 and a Member of the EIC Board since 2022. Mr Martínez is a Delegate of EIC’s Spanish Member Federation, SEOPAN - Asociacion de Empresas Constructoras y Concesionarias de Infraestructuras, since the year 2002.
Mr. Martínez is the second Spanish President in the history of EIC and he succeeds Benoît Chauvin from France who retired in accordance with the EIC Statutes after fulfilling a full 5-year mandate.
Matteo d’Aloja, Head of External Relations, Communications & Sustainability at Ghella, is a Member of the EIC Board since 2019, representing EIC’s Italian Member Federation, ANCE - Associazione Nazionale Costruttori Edili, and has overlooked the redesign of the EIC corporate identity.
