Ghella participates in the First Lyon-Turin Engagement Forum in Paris

Paris, July 30th, 2024 – Ghella participated in the first Lyon-Turin Engagement Forum, organized by TELT in Paris, transforming the Turin-Lyon railway project into a laboratory of innovation and sustainability. During the event, TELT and leading international companies presented the paper "Commitment to the construction sites of the Lyon-Turin railway line," outlining new operational challenges for sustainability and safety on construction sites. 

The forum, held at Casa Italia during the Paris 2024 Olympics, saw the participation of 11 construction and engineering companies. Moderated by Erika Vaniglia, CEO of the Collège des Ingénieurs in Turin, the meeting emphasized best practices in environmental protection, circular economy, worker safety, the social and economic value generated for the region, and the fight against corruption. 

Herald Ruijters, Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission, stated in his video message: "This Forum is a step in the right direction to make infrastructure investments more environmentally friendly."
